Alicia Aviles-Corey, IBCLC

Alicia Aviles-Corey, IBCLC, is a board-certified lactation consultant, TummyTime!TM professional, IBCLC Master Class graduate and Clinical Medical Assistant in private practice outside of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC. She is also a former Marine Corps Staff Sergeant, Iraq and Afghanistan veteran, wife to a retired Marine and mother/stepmother to four awesome kids. She has previously worked as a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor on-base for the county WIC program and served as the Onslow County Breastfeeding Coalition Chair. She is dedicated to mentoring future IBCLCs, diversifying, and improving clinical competency within the field of lactation and improving access to care for all marginalized communities.

Particular areas of interest for Alicia include oral motor dysfunction, restrictions and habilitation, food allergies and gut health, low milk supply and herbal support, bottle refusal, pumping and feeding gear, PMADS and supporting military servicemembers and their families.
