Human Milk banks process, store and distribute human milk so that babies whose mothers are unable to provide their own milk to their babies are able receive the benefits of human milk. Human Milk Banking Association of North America (HMBANA) is the accrediting agency for milk banks in the USA and Canada. They publish information and standards for human milk banking that are used world-wide.
